Our Advantage in Alternative Investments

Institutional Needs, Constraints and Allocations

Direct relationships with decision-makers at Israel's leading institutional investors, maintained by Mr. Cohen for more than two decades.

Ongoing Sponsor Coverage

Ongoing communication and relationship management following closing, including regular reporting and investor updates, in support of follow-on transactions and future capital raises.

Areas of Activity

Placement Agent Mandates

Over the years, InFin has raised more than US$2 billion for a range of funds as placement agent to the Israeli institutional market – leading open-end and closed-end funds across varying sizes.

Separately Managed Accounts

InFin has closed two complex SMA transactions, aligning the needs of Israeli institutional investors with those of the sponsor. The mandates covered tax and regulatory structuring and the preparation of investment-committee materials and presentations.

Direct Investments & Joint Ventures

InFin has executed multiple transactions with an aggregate volume of approximately US$1.5 billion, pairing Israeli corporate accounts with US sponsors – structuring the transactions, supporting due diligence, negotiating and drafting the partnership agreements, establishing fair fee and promote structures, and executing follow-on transactions.

A-Notes & Co-Investments

Investments by Israeli institutional investors in A-notes and co-investment transactions. The Israeli market shows strong and consistent demand for these instruments, which combine senior exposure and defined duration with attractive returns. Over the years, we have executed multiple such transactions with a range of institutional investors across varying deal sizes.

Case Highlight

Anchor Investor – Up to US$500 Million

A multifamily transaction with a high-quality manager that had not yet reached the scale required to raise institutional-size funds. An Israeli institution invested 49% across five of the sponsor’s funds, receiving GP economics in return – enabling the sponsor to scale to institutional size, while providing the investor with LP returns alongside GP upside.
